October
Suit up for the Career and Internship Fair to connect with industry pros and meet potential employers. Your academic area may even host their own career fair to connect you with jobs specifically in your field.
Homecoming is a week of pep rallies, a parade, and campus traditions led by the Student Government Association.
November
When the temperatures drop, watch campus come alive with stunning fall colors. There are tons of outdoor study spots across campus, and Hattiesburg has a variety of outdoor activities—from exploring the friendliest zoo around to running the Longleaf Trace.
December
With Late Night Meal, random pizza drops at popular study spots, and Starbucks located right in the library, you’ll have all the fuel you need for final exams.
Then, it’s time to enjoy the long winter break so you can recharge and reset! You’ll even have plenty of time to catch some Golden Eagle Basketball.
January
Students have access to the on-campus fitness center with an indoor track, group exercise, an indoor pool, workout equipment, and a lot more to help you hit the ground running.
The Student Involvement Fair, held each semester, is your one-stop shop for finding and joining a student organization.
February
From catching beads to enjoying king cake, Mardi Gras break is all about fun. There’s even a parade that rolls right through Hattiesburg.
It’s also the time of year when ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Miss Baseball is back in action at The Pete!
March
Whether you’re preparing your class schedule for next fall or getting ready to graduate, we have academic advisors and Career Services to help you succeed.
Spring break is your time to recharge before the final stretch of the semester.
April
Get ready for a spring packed with performances, exhibits, symposiums, and forums. We also host a huge crawfish boil for the entire campus—a favorite ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ tradition!
Head downtown for HUBFEST and Live at 5, where music, food, and community vibes fill the streets. And don’t forget to sign up for The Big Event—a day of service where students volunteer throughout Hattiesburg.
